Hampton Inn, Stamford. We have arranged several rooms there for known out-of-towners. However, since largely attendance will be by day-trip, we do not have a large number of rooms reserved. If you would like assistance getting in on the group block, let us know asap.

The hotel is walking distance from Stamford train station; and rides can probably be arranged from there with other guests if need be. Or take the train out to New Canaan and grab a taxi from the station.

Driving Directions to Hampton Inn:

Take exit 8 on I-95 at the Stamford train station. Turn LEFT (coming from New York) or turn RIGHT (coming from New England) onto Washington St., Hwy 137.

Go to Broad St. (there's a [white, modern] UConn building on the far right corner) and turn LEFT. Go across a river, one long block, and turn LEFT at the Shell station (Mill River St.). Hampton Inn is at 26 Mill River St. on the right.

An alternative route that may be better, more direct (approaches from below the hotel rather than above the hotel): After turning onto Washington - Go a couple of blocks to Tessler Blvd (Hwy 1) and turn LEFT. Go about two blocks to Mill River St. and turn RIGHT. Hampton Inn is at 26 Mill River St. on the left.
